McWeddings???

With the global economy being what it is, young couples may consider a far more casual and inexpensive way to tie the knot like getting hitched at their favorite fast-food eatery. When the locale is their local McDonald's, the fete is deemed a McWedding.


In Hong Kong, they even have special deals for the happy couple who want to try something different. The "Warm and sweet wedding package" comes in at about $1,300 and includes wedding gifts, invitations, decorations featuring Ronald and the Hamburglar, and about $400 worth of the famous fast food. Upgrades could include a "white balloon" gown rental ($165), balloon corsage ($11), balloon wedding cake ($88) and/or a large pink McDonald's backdrop ($321).
